QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (Q&A)

Q: Where is the 70's Disco 5K taking place?
A: Harbor Park at Lake Baldwin;  4990 New Broad Street,  Orlando, FL   32814

Q: How long will I need to volunteer?
A: 6:00am - 12:00pm (6 hours).

Q: What should I wear?
A: Please wear khaki or black colored shorts/pants and a white shirt (long or short sleeve). Make sure it is comfortable as you will be working outside and moving around.

Q: Where do I park/dropped off within the Harbor Park upon arrival?
A: You will be dropped off (or park in open space) at the corner of Welham Street and Lake Baldwin Lane.  Our event will be setup on Harbor Park grounds at this intersection.

Q: What are the duties of a volunteer?
A: The volunteer duties will range from registering participants, handing out participants race packets, providing participants with water during the event, start/finish setup and teardown, on course directional markers - telling the participants where to go, event course setup, parking, 5K timing.

Q: What are the COVID-19 protocols in place for the 70's Disco 5K?
A: We have worked closely with Orange County to ensure a safe event. All staff, volunteers, and participants will be required to wear a mask when not on the 5K course. All staff and volunteers will be required to wear a mask. Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the event. Social distancing guidelines will be in effect.

Q: Who will complete my volunteer service hours form?
A: Upon completion of your volunteer shift, please see Danny Howard to have your form completed and signed.

Q: How will I know what my assignment?
A: Upon arrival Victory Sports will have staff to guide you in the correct direction. Victory Sports staff will be wearing bright neon yellow staff shirts.
