SUMMARY:Save the Planet - Recycle 5K
DESCRIPTION:  \nWe are excited to offer this unique and low cost 5K event that focuses on recycling and our effort to a better tomorrow.  The Save the Planet – Recycle 5K will be held Saturday July 10\, 2021 at TY Park in Hollywood.  What is unique about the Save our planet – Recycle 5K?  We will recycle our medals and tech performance shirts\, from past events\, for this event.  We do not want any medals or shirts to go to waste and fill up our landfills.  This provides each participants to receive some of the largest and coolest medals dating from 2020 and 2021.  Because the event does not purchase new medals and shirts for the event\, we pass the savings on to you!  The entry fee for the Save the Planet – Recycle 5K is only $25.00.  This will include a personalized race bib\, finisher medal of your choice\, tech performance shirt of your choice\, and personalized race completion certificate.   We will provide awards to the top 3 overall and top 3 in each age group.  Age groups will be as follows:\nMen’s and Women’s:  0-8; 9-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; and 80+ \nTY Park is an ideal location for the event on July 10\, 2021 as much of the 5K course is shaded in tree canopy.  The race will begin at 7:15am.  You will choose the shirt of your choice at packet pickup and we promise there are great options.    As you cross the finish line\, you will get to choose the medal of your choice.    What aspect of the medal is most important to you?? DESCRIPTION:Karma Roofing is excited to host the inaugural Karma Cook out 5K benefiting Embrace Families.  The 5K will be held at Harbor Park at Lake Baldwin on Saturday July 17\, 2021.  The theme promises to provide a fun and entertaining day for everyone.  We encourage individuals and families to join in the fun.  There will be something fun for everyone.  We will host a fun costume contest and encourage you to dress in your favorite food themed costume.  We expect to see fun costumes such as hot dogs\, fruits\, vegetables\, and other assorted food items.  What will you wear? DESCRIPTION:   \n \nJune 24\, 2021 is a day that will never be forgotten in South Florida.  Hundreds of lives were immediately changed forever\, while many more will be affected for a long time.  There are certain instances that we are needed to show support to our neighbors. We can all put aside differences and come together for something bigger than all of us\, and this is one of those times.  We need to all come together and show our Surfside neighbors and let them know they are not alone. \nWe are hosting the Support Surfside 5K on Saturday July 31\, 2021 at Markham Park.  The 5K will begin at 7:30am.  The 5K will be a chipped timed event with awards provided for the Top 3 overall\, masters\, and age groups.  We hope to see the most avid of runners at the event but also want to see those in the community how want to show our Surfside friends that they care.  You can run\, walk\, or just stand at the start/finish line to show your support.  All participants will receive an personalized commemorative #SurfsideStrong race bib\, event shirt\, and finisher medal.
