DESCRIPTION:  \n \n \nOur friends in Australia need our help now more than ever.  As many of you have seen on social media\, TV\, internet\, and other media outlets\, Australia is burning at an alarming rate.  The Australia Brushfire Relief Fund has been created to help those in need during this difficult time.  Let’s show our support of Australia by running in the Australia Relief 5K on February 9\, 2020 at Tradewinds Park.  The race will begin at 7:00am.  100% of the proceed will go directly to the Australia Brushfire Relief Fund on behalf of all participants at the 5K.  All participants will receive a race bib with timing chip\, event shirt\, and finisher medal. DESCRIPTION:2019 4/20 Miami 5K Run\nWe are extremely disappointed to report that the City of Miami has informed us that we will not be permitted to host this event on 4/20 at the old Miami Marine Stadium. We were instructed in September 2018\, when discussing the event with the permit department\, that the City of Miami was excited to host this event on April 20\, 2019. They have since reversed their decision in fear of cannabis use on the City of Miami property and does not wish to align with cannabis or the use of it on their property. We are truly disappointed to report this news to you. Cannavinus and Victory Sports Management has dedicated time\, money\, and resources to ensure the success of this event and that has been washed away by this decision. We also know that our vendors\, sponsors\, and foundation will be affected by this decision and want to apologize to them as well. \nWe will issue refunds to all that have paid their entry into the event. Please know we will work as quickly to issue the refunds but due to the volume understand it will take 4-6 weeks to receive the refund. DESCRIPTION:        \nCancer Can’t Stop Me 5K benefiting the Shirley Enrico Cancer Foundation will be held February 24\, 2019 at Vista View Park in Davie\, FL.  The Shirley Enrico Cancer Foundation provides free cancer care to those who suffer from this terrible disease. \nShirley Enrico was a military wife and mother of two. She was use to surviving on her own terms throughout the military lifestyle raising children and keeping everyone safe and cared for at home. It was with her strength that she fought her eight year cancer journey that started with breast cancer\, then diagnosed with colon cancer and lost her battle with bladder cancer. \nShe was very quiet and reserved with her fight and the toll it took on her. Her youngest daughter Rebecca an Oncology Certified Massage Therapist and Skin Care therapist tried to provide a healing loving touch\, however\, her mother asked that she instead take her skills and use them to help other families that might need them during their journey. It was with that promise that Rebecca with the support of her father and sister opened the Shirley Enrico Foundation for Oncology Support.
