In the state of Florida, more than 1,000 children each month are removed from their homes and placed in the child welfare system. While not everyone is called to foster or adopt, we believe we can all play a part in helping children and families in need.
That’s why we’re personally inviting you to join us for our 5K for Foster Kids race!
Children's Network of Hillsborough, LLC (CNHC) serves as the lead child welfare agency in Circuit 13. Contracted by the Department of Children and Families, CNHC has supported over 7,800 vulnerable children since July 2022. Our mission is to protect children and preserve families by providing a Community-Based System of Care for abused, neglected, and abandoned children, including foster care, adoption, prevention services, kinship care, and independent living.
