Q: What is the date of the 4th Annual Cinco de Mayo 5K presented by LIME?
A: Saturday May 4, 2024
Q: Where is the Cinco K presented by LIME taking place?
A: Vista View Park; 4001 SW 142nd Ave, Davie, FL 33330
Q: How long will I need to volunteer?
A: 6:00am - 11:00pm (6 hours).
Q: Will I receive anything for volunteering?
A: All volunteers will earn their community service hours as well as receive an event shirt. You will also have access to the LIME Fresh Grill food and drinks.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Please wear khaki or black colored shorts/pants and a white shirt (long or short sleeve). Make sure it is comfortable as you will be working outside and moving around.
Q: Where do I park/dropped off within the Vista View Park upon arrival?
A: Upon entry to the park, you will go straight at the first stop sign and make a right. This will lead you directly to the event location.
Q: What are the duties of a volunteer?
A: The volunteer duties will range from registering participants, handing out participants race packets, providing participants with water during the event, start/finish setup and teardown, on course directional markers - telling the participants where to go, event course setup, parking, 5K timing.
Q: Where are the event proceeds going?
A: Event proceeds will go to 4KIDS of South Florida.
Q: Who will complete my volunteer service hours form?
A: Upon completion of your volunteer shift, please see Danny Howard to have your form completed and signed.
Q: How will I know what my assignment?
A: Upon arrival Victory Sports will have staff to guide you in the correct direction. Victory Sports staff will be wearing bright neon yellow staff shirts.
