QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (Q&A)

Q: Where is the College Kickoff Classic 10K/5K taking place?
A: Quiet Waters Park;  401 Powerline Road,  Deerfield Beach, FL   33442

Q: How long will I need to volunteer?
A: 6:00am - 12:00pm (6 hours).

Q: What should I wear?
A: Please wear khaki or black colored shorts/pants and a white shirt (long or short sleeve). Make sure it is comfortable as you will be working outside and moving around.

Q: Where do I park/dropped off within the Quiet Waters Park upon arrival?
A: Upon entry to the park, you will make a left at the stop sign, follow the road to Splash Mountain (the road will end at Splash Mountain).

Q: What are the duties of a volunteer?
A: The volunteer duties will range from registering participants, handing out participants race packets, providing participants with water during the event, start/finish setup and teardown, on course directional markers - telling the participants where to go, event course setup, parking, 5K timing.

Q: Who will complete my volunteer service hours form?
A: Upon completion of your volunteer shift, please see Danny Howard to have your form completed and signed.

Q: How will I know what my assignment?
A: Upon arrival Victory Sports will have staff to guide you in the correct direction. Victory Sports staff will be wearing bright neon yellow staff shirts.
