Run 3 For Joey 3 5K

Join us September 18, 2021 at North Collier Regional Park for the Run 3 for Joey D 5K. The 5K, which welcomes both runners and walkers, will begin at 8:00am and guide you through one of the most scenic 5K routes in all of Florida. The route will guide you through natures beauty and provide the most peaceful setting. The 5K will be chipped timed and awards will be provided to the Top 3 Overall, Masters, Senior Masters, and Age Groups. Age Groups will be as follows: MALE/FEMALE 1-8; 9-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34 35-59; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+.
The inaugural Run 3 for Joey D 5K is a fun run honoring the life of Joey DiPascale and the first event benefiting The Joey D Foundation. A few months ago, Our family lost a brother and a son, the community lost a teammate and friend, and the world lost a young man who was passionate about nothing more than helping others.
The Joey D Foundation was started to honor his legacy and continue impacting the local community in all the ways that Joey would have done himself. The foundation is chasing after it’s first goal of fully funding an endowed scholarship at FSU that will be awarded annually to an underserved student from Collier County. We are also raising money to help kids pay for youth sports who otherwise wouldn’t be able to. Joey was passionate about sports, fitness and encouraging those around him to be active so there was no better way to kick off the foundation’s efforts than to host a 5K.
