Run for Caregiving Youth 5K

The American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY) is proud to host the Run for Caregiving Youth 5K on Saturday April 24, 2021 as a Virtual ONLY event.   All participants will receive a complete race package, which includes a personalized race bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and personalized race completion certificate.

The 5K will use our event app to track your time and distance and awards will be provided for top 3 overall and top 3 in each age group.  The age groups are as follows:  Boys/Girls 1-8; 9-14; 15-19 and Men’s/Women’s 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+.  The Virtual ONLY 5K will take place on April 24, 2021.  Please see the schedule of events below for details.

Who We Are

The American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY) began as a nonprofit corporation in 1998 which was founded to serve people who were homebound and caregiving families. Headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, AACY is the only organization in the U.S. dedicated solely to addressing caregiving youth issues.

Who are Caregiving Youth?

Caregiving Youth are children and adolescents who are 18 years of age or younger and who provide significant or substantial assistance, often on a regular basis, to relatives or household members who need help because of physical or mental illness, disability, frailty associated with aging, substance misuse, or other condition.
